My goodness, time can get away from you! July is ending, and we’re enjoying the hot days of summer. When it isn’t raining, of course.
For the past several months, I’ve been working on a new project, the Eggnog and New Beginnings Series. These are feel-good, second chance romances taking place during the Christmas season. I’ve completed Book 1 and have almost completed Books 2 and 3. These books will be published Aug 1, Sept 1, and Oct 1. I’m plotting Book 4 in the series now.

Anna McArthur owns a flourishing small-town business, but at thirty-four she is single with no prospects in sight. Regardless of how handsome and successful her nerdy friend from high school has become, Jaxon cannot hold her to what she considers a decade-old joke. While embroiled in a battle with a town resident, she learns the surprising reason Jaxon is adamant they fulfill their senior year agreement.
When Jaxon Parker returns to his hometown to take over his late father’s law firm, the widower dad learns that still-single Anna has returned also. Although she refuses to honor their study hall marriage pact, Jaxon intends to help Santa grant his daughter’s request. The new lawyer in town might succeed, unless Anna learns the identity of one particular client.
Will Anna agree to make a little girl’s Christmas memorable? Or will Anna’s and Jaxon’s conflicts, concerning the marriage pact and the future of their hometown, eliminate any hopes of a happily-ever-after together?
